The Mythic Fiber Club is back!

October, November, and December you will receive a 4oz braid of fiber in a colorway inspired by world myths.

Each of the months/colorways will be in a different fiber from a different “class” (i.e. downs wool, fine wool, ancient breed, longwool).

With each fiber will come a stitch marker also inspired by the myth.

Also with each fiber will come a detailed description of the fiber and breed, as well as a description of the inspiring myth/pantheon.

Colorways will remain exclusive to the club for at least 6 months.

No fibers will be repeated from the last club.

The weather SUUUUUUCKS.

The heat is insane. Add in the humidity and I can’t get any fiber dry! The club is officially dyed, but I’m trying to get it dried so I can send it out.

The next update of the shop is also mostly dyed, but… same thing with the drying. Insane.

Garden’s producing well, should remain so assuming we can keep it from drying out completely in this drought. Amazing, things are dying of lack of water and mildewing at the same time.

Here’s my latest garden pickings. An array of slicing and pickling cukes, a bunch of tomatoes arranged more-or-less by variety, a kohlrabi, some squash, onion stalks, parsley, two kinds of peas, and string beans. Nom.

And a “look I’m an artiste!” view (actually, just trying to give a different scope, holding it above my head to get it all was hard for the first one).

That’s about it for now… I’m working on something I’ll tell you more about soon.
